谷歌 Chrome 87 发布，性能提升卓越更省电

曾经有一段时间，Chrome 一度成为全球反应最快的浏览器。但是多年发展下来，Chrome需要用到越来越多的系统资源。谷歌公司一直尝试扭转局面，开发一款性能和速度都大幅提升的浏览器—— 如今，终于推出了 Chrome 87 浏览器 。
谷歌称，Chome 87 浏览器会优先处理正在使用的标签，让 CPU 使用率降低5倍。谷歌公司在测试时发现，这种后台处理上的改进能将电池续航时间延长1.25小时。同时，需要的电量和内存都比以往更少。
这些改变都标志着 Chrome 87 浏览器 性能提升卓越。谷歌公司会逐步发布覆盖 87 和 88 版本的更新程序。
安卓版本的 Chrome 浏览器性能也会大幅提升。谷歌称，当往前和往后滑动网页时，网页会“几乎瞬间”加载。谷歌会逐步推出后退/前进缓存功能，这也是 Chrome 87 浏览器的功能之一。
如果你和我一样，上网时会同时打开很多标签，那么找到需要的那一个标签会非常困难。谷歌正在尝试解决这个问题，显示一个所有打开的标签列表，让用户输入所需标签的名称。这个表情搜索功能将最先在 Chromebook 应用，不久之后会应用在 PC 版的 Chrome 浏览器。

Google Chrome是由Google开发的免费网页浏览器。Chrome是化学元素“铬”的英文名称，过去也用Chrome称呼浏览器的外框。Chrome相应的开放源代码计划名为Chromium，而Google Chrome本身是非自由软件，未开放全部源代码。
Chrome 50结束了对Windows XP与Windows Vista系统的支持，这两个系统上的最后版本为49.0.2623.112。
